叫んでます「母ちゃん、ごはーん！」って。それにしてもすごいクチバシの開け方。母ちゃん鳥は、若鳥の叫びに応えて何やらあげてました。
"Mom! Food!" I believe the young bird is shouting. How wide its beak is opening! Responding to its young’s cry, the mother bird gave some food to her young.
若い？確かにまだ若い鳥です。でも、自分の面倒が見れるくらいには大きくなってるはず。母ちゃん鳥もそれがわかってるので、見てる範囲では、もうそれ以上餌をあげてませんでした。
Young? Yes, it was still young, but I believe it had grown enough to take care of itself. I think the mother bird knew that, and that was why she didn’t give it any more food while I watched them.

若い鳥は、自分で餌が取れるようになっても親鳥を頼ろうとします。親から餌をもらったほうが自分で探すよりもはるかに楽ですもんね。若鳥は大人の鳥ほど、餌を探すの上手じゃないし。
The young bird tries to rely on its parents even after it can find food on its own. Getting food from its parents is much easier than finding food on its own. They are not as good at doing so as adult birds.
それはわかります。他の鳥についても同じで、若いカラスが餌が欲しくて親鳥を追い回してるのを見たことがあります。母カラスは若いカラスから顔をそむけて、「いつまでも子供じゃないのよ」と言ってるようでした。
I understand that, and the same thing seems to be true for other birds. I’ve seen a young crow chasing its mother for food. She was turning her head away from her young, as if to say “stop being a child.”
That is also true for animals, including human beings, I think.
