今日は雪の日に撮った写真を投稿します。
Today I'll post some photos I took on snowy days.
最初の写真は、雪の日に太陽が沈んだ直後に撮りました。空は雲で覆われてますが、残っている陽の明かりで温かみのあるグレーになり、カメラのフラッシュの強い光を反射しながら舞い落ちる雪の良い背景になってます。
The first photo. I took this on a snowy day just after the sun had set. The sky was covered with clouds, but the remaining light illuminated the clouds, giving them a warm gray tone, making them a good background of the falling snowflakes, which were reflecting the strong light of the camera flash.
これはお気に入りの写真です。雪がこんな風に撮れるのは予想してましたが、その配置具合、つまり大小の白い点（雪）がたまたま上手く分散していて（これは自分ではどうしようもない）、写真にちょっとした躍動感を与えてくれてると思います。
I like this picture. I expected the snowflakes to appear this way, but the arrangement of the large and small white dots (snowflakes), which was not under my control, happened to be dispersed properly, giving this picture some sense of dynamism, I think.
2枚め。ケリという鳥が、半分凍った川の浅瀬を歩いてます。この写真が好きなのは、新見南吉の絵本の挿絵を描いた黒井健を思い出させるからです。黒井健は好きな画家のひとりで、そのソフトでやさしいタッチの画風が好みです。この2枚めの写真にはそんな感じがあると思います。
The second photo is a bird called the gray-headed lapwing walking in the shallow water of a river, which was half-frozen on a heavy snowy day. I like this photo because the picture reminds me of Ken Kuroi, who illustrated picture books for children written by Nankichi Niimi. Ken Kuroi is one of my favorite painters. I like his painting style, which features a soft and gentle touch. I think the second picture has such features.
新見南吉は、皆さんご存知の通り、よく知られた童話作家で、彼が有名なのは代表作の一つ「ごんぎつね」が小学校の国語の教科書に載っていた（今も載っている？）からですよね。
As you know, Nankichi Niimi is a well-known children's book author. Many Japanese people are familiar with him because one of his most famous stories, "Gongitsune" (Gon, the Little Fox), was (still is?) included in a Japanese textbook for elementary school children, right?
3枚め。タイトルは「車上の雪原」。変なタイトルですよね。春に撮った写真なので、当初「春の雪原」としてましたが、写真がどう撮影されたかを読んだ人から「車上の雪原」がいいんじゃないと言われてその意見に同意。
The third photo is titled "Snow Field on the Car." Strange title is it? I initially titled it "Snow Field in Spring" because I took it in the spring, but someone who looked at this picture and read how I took it suggested that the shot should be titled "Snow Field on the Car." I agreed with him.
実は、この写真は雪とはまったく関係ありません。雪原は、実は白い車の屋根なのです！夕日を背景にして遠くに鉄塔が見えたとき、車の白い屋根を雪原にしようと思いつきました。
Actually, this shot had nothing to do with snow. The snow field was, in fact, the roof of my white car! When I saw the power transmission tower in the distance against the setting sun, an idea of turning the white car roof into a snow field came to me.
このアイデア、大成功。トリック写真として面白い絵になりました。空と雲のパターンが写真を良くしてます。こうした自分ではどうしようもない要素がたまたま良い具合に構成されて、またまたラッキーでした。お気に入りの写真をうまく撮るには、幸運に恵まれることも大事。
My idea succeeded, producing an interesting image as a trick photo, thanks to the sky and the cloud pattern, which makes the shot better. I was again lucky in that the elements not under my control happened to be arranged properly. To take your favorite photos successfully, good luck is important too.

と言っておきながら数日間、放置。ようやく今日AIでチェックして投稿です。投稿の間が空いているので、まずは速やかに投稿するのを優先します。
英文も訳文もたぶん後から修正が入ります（笑）。今回は、特に訳文に多めに入りそうです。英文を書いた後の最初の訳文はどうしても英語にひっぱられて不自然になりがちです。時間が経つと多少なりとも英語から離れて訳せるので、最初の訳よりは良くなりやすいです（いずれにしても大差ありませんけど）。

黒井健さんの画風は絵本によって変わります。ソフトでやさしいタッチと感じるのは絵本「ごんぎつね」「手袋を買いに」などの絵です。ちなみに「ごんぎつね」は複数の画家さんが描かれてますが、黒井健さんのが一番好きです。
