ジブリ映画「コクリコ坂」の主題歌「さよならの夏」を聴いてました。東亜樹さんが歌ってますが、彼女はほんとに魅力的な声で歌います。旅vlog「Maibaru Taravel」のことを書こうと思ったのはそのときです。なぜかと言うと、歌を聴いていて映画のシーンではなく、何度か行ったことのある尾道の坂が浮かんできて、次にこのMaibaru Travelの尾道（坂で有名）の動画が浮かんできたからです。
I was listening to "Summer of Farewells," the theme song for the Ghibli movie "From Up on Poppy Hill," sung by Azuma Aki. She sings songs with a truly attractive voice. That's when I decided to write about the travel vlog "Maibaru Travel." Why? Because listening to the song brought me not to some scenes from the movie, but to the famous slopes on hills facing the Seto Inland Sea in Onomichi, which I have visited several times, and then to the video of this place made by the vlog.
このvlogの好きなところは、映像がよく撮れていることと、ふたりの人たち（男性と女性）の味のある会話です。女性は男性を「先輩」と呼び、男性のほうは女性を「まいちゃん」と呼びます。女性が男性をちょっとからかうような話し方をときどきしますが、それがふたりの関係性の一端を表してると思います。
What I like about the vlog is their well-filmed videos and the flavorful conversation between the two people, a woman and a man. She calls him "Hey, mentor," and he calls her "Mai-chan," her nickname. She talks to him, sometimes making a bit of fun of him, which shows part of their relationship.
ただの推測で完全に間違ってるかもしれませんが、女性は出版関係の仕事、男性はプロのカメラマンだと思います。男性が旅を計画して景色を撮影、女性が動画に出て景色の印象を話します。ふたりの平和な、ときに面白おかしい会話は動画の雰囲気にあってます。そんなところもこのブログがお気に入りの理由です。
This is just my guess and maybe totally wrong, but I guess the woman works in publishing and the man is a professional photographer. He plans travels and films the scenery, and she appears in their videos, expressing her impressions of it. Their peaceful, sometimes funny conversation matches the atmosphere of the videos, helping make this blog one of my favorite travel vlogs.

旅vlogを見るのは好きですが、変かもしれませんが旅vlogを見ても旅に出たいとは思いません。旅行に行きたいという欲求はどこか遠くへ旅立ってしまったようです。
I like watching travel vlogs. This may sound strange, but watching travel vlogs doesn't make me feel like traveling at all. My desire to travel seems to have wandered off somewhere far away.
「バイクで地球1周以上」の投稿で書いたように、20代の後半の4年間、すべての長期休暇は日本中をバイクで走り回ってました。総距離は4万8000キロ越え、ゆうに地球1周以上です。たぶん、旅行に行きたい欲求はそのときに全部消費尽くされてしまったんだと思います。（ほんまかいな。笑）
As I wrote in the post "More than once around the earth（バイクで地球1週以上）," I traveled around Japan by motorcycle during all the long holidays for four years in my late twenties, which is well over the circumference of the earth. I guess I used up all of my desire to travel then. (Could that really happen? haha)
