The other day, while I was watching TV, and saw Mt.Fuji, I recalled the New Year holidays spent at an inn by Lake Kawaguchi on the foot of the mountain. I went there with a friend by motorcycle (we both had our own motorcycle), and spent New Year's Eve partying with the guests of the inn. On New Year's morning, after having special dishes for the day, we took a walk along the lake, and took pictures of us with Mt.Fuji as the backdrop. The air was brisk that day, and as I smiled at the camera, I was sure that the coming year would be a good one.

ヘミングウェイは「老人と海」（英語）しか読んでませせんが、とにかく文章が短い！と感じました。ヘミングウェイ風のは10歳の子供が書いた英文よりも短くなってしまいましたね！
